Instruction & Lessons for Equine Owners & Enthusiasts
"Natural Horsemanship" Instruction specializing in teaching communication & partnership, gently starting horses under saddle, and positive improvement of "problem" horses. We work with all breeds and all disciplines of horses, and any age student focusing on the foundational building blocks that are needed to excel in handling and riding horses. We believe in the beauty and dream of a safe, confident, mutually-beneficial bond and partnership between horses and humans.
We offer lessons both on and off our facility in Apopka. Students are taught the importance of good communication between horse and rider, both on the ground and in the saddle. We only use gentle, patient techniques, and encourage the horse and rider to build a united partnership using fun games of pressure/release and sensitizing/desensitizing, all with the use of limited aids besides our own bodies. The goal is to create a fluid partnership and create a trusting, willing companion and partner out of both horse and rider.
Lexy with Chubbs, Bonnie and Goldie "The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit, and fire." ~Sharon Ralls Lemon
